Role Highlights:

- Provided Equipment: Millbrae Baseball has umpire gear available, new youth umpires will receive gear (umpire shirt and clicker) after in person training is complete and scheduled for their first game on Stack Officials
Ideal Candidates:
- Have a passion for baseball and youth sports.
- Are enthusiastic about teaching and demonstrating proper techniques and rules of the game.
- Value teamwork, sportsmanship, and building community connections as a positive role model.
Physical Requirements and Expectations:
- Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
- Knowledge of the Millbrae Baseball game rules based on division.
- Stay focused during game and call the game to the best of your ability.
- Provide credentials and experience on request or attend in-person umpire training
- Conduct self in a professional manner with players, coaches and fans.
- Report any on or off field incidents to division commissioner and/or Millbrae Baseball Board.
- Arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to game time ready for coaches meeting and start the game on time in umpire gear.
Minimum Age Requirements:
- 10 years old for 8U Pinto division
- 12 years old for 10U Mustang division
- 14 years old for 12U Bronco division
- 18 years old for 14U Pony division
Rate by Division (2025 Spring Season)
- 8U Pinto Division
- $15/game or $20 for solo umpire
- 10U Mustang Division
- $50/game or $60 for solo umpire
- 12U Bronco Division
- $60/game or $75 for solo umpire
- 14U Pony Division (scheduled through Peninsula League)
- $90/game or $135 for solo umpire
